Ancillary Benefits

Benefits are important in attracting talent to your company, but they’re even more important to retaining talent in your company. According to a 2014 Towers Watson survey, 33% of survey respondents indicated that healthcare benefits were an important consideration in joining a company and 47% indicated that healthcare benefits were an important consideration in staying with a company. And employers recognize that retaining employees is a critical business advantage.

Benefits Consulting

Navigating the complexity of benefits can be overwhelming, time-consuming, and FRUSTRATING. Brokers will frequently have an allegiance to certain providers and may not help you objectively review and understand your options.

We have licensed Life and Health professionals on staff who can help you understand the options that are best for your company and your employees’ needs.

Stand-Alone Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA)

In December 2016, President Obama signed into law the 21st Century Cures Act which allows employers with fewer than 50 employees to create and manage stand-alone HRAs. This is great news for employers who want to provide a health-related benefit to their employees but cannot fund a group healthcare plan. Employers will be able to set aside tax deductible contributions into an HRA for their employees to fund expenses related to healthcare, including their premiums related to the insurance they purchase on the open market.

We will work with you to set up an HRA, identify software to manage your HRA plan, and work with you and your employees to enjoy this benefit. The addition of an HRA to your business will help increase the competitiveness of your hiring practices and Employee Value Proposition.
